Fosroc Nitozinc Primer is a two-component, zinc-rich epoxy resin-based primer specifically designed for protecting steel reinforcement against corrosion in concrete repair applications. The high zinc content provides sacrificial protection to the steel, significantly enhancing the durability of repaired structures and extending their service life.
Nitozinc Primer acts as an excellent bonding interface between steel and repair mortars, complying with international standards for corrosion prevention. It is an essential component in structural repair systems, particularly where steel is exposed due to deterioration or during patch repair works.

Nitozinc Primer is recommended for priming exposed steel reinforcement for use with Fosroc concrete repair mortars. The product actively resists corrosion within the confines of the repair location and avoids the generation of incipient anodes in immediately adjacent locations.
