Fosroc Nitocote SN522 is a single-component, silane-siloxane based penetrating water repellent specifically formulated to protect concrete, brickwork, and masonry surfaces. It deeply penetrates into the substrate, forming a hydrophobic barrier that prevents water ingress while maintaining breathability. Nitocote SN522 is highly effective in reducing efflorescence, chloride ion penetration, and freeze-thaw damage, making it ideal for use in structures exposed to harsh weather conditions and de-icing salts. The product is clear, non-film-forming, and maintains the natural appearance of the substrate.
