Fosroc Brushbond Roofguard is a high-build, fibre-reinforced, single-component acrylic elastomeric waterproofing coating designed for both new and existing roofs. It enables seamless protection over substrates like concrete, brickbat coba, and screed without needing to remove the existing layer. Applied in three or more tinted coats for easy thickness monitoring, it delivers a durable, UV-resistant waterproofing membrane that tolerates light foot traffic and bridges hairline cracks. No protection screed is required, which cuts weight and cost.

High-build coating: Achieves >1 mm dry film in 3+ coats (≈0.5 L/m² per coat)
Surface-ready: Can be applied directly to sound concrete, brickbat coba, or screed without removing existing layers
UV & weather resistant: Durable under sunlight and harsh weather, breathable and crack-accommodating
Crack bridging: Up to 0.5 mm, with excellent adhesion and flexibility
Decorative & diagnostic: Multiple coat colors help monitor proper coverage.
Typical Application Steps:
Prime with Nitoprime AW (1 L primer + 0.5 L water).
Apply Brushbond Roofguard in at least three distinct-colored coats, each ≈0.5 L/m².
Wait for touch-dry before applying the next coat.
Once cured (≥1 mm total thickness), it's ready for light foot traffic—no screed needed unless added intentionally
High build fibre reinforced acrylic waterproofing coating for roofs.
Can be applied directly on existing concrete, brickbat coba, and screed concrete even without removal provided the substrates are sound enough for application of the coating avoiding the risk of damage to the old roof associated while removing the existing overlays. The product provides a seamless, tough durable water resistant coating which can withstand light pedestrian traffic and also has excellent weather resistance for exterior applications.
